Somya Satsangi (based in New Delhi) creates hybrid visual worlds shaped by Indian mythology, the Arabian Nights, Latin American magical realism and the landscapes of her childhood — the Himalayas, Rajasthan and beyond. Trained in photography in London and painting in New Delhi, she treats sacred and whimsical figures as belonging to one fluid symbolic world.
